Biography of Imam al - Qurthubi

Imam al-Qurtubi is a great scholar, a renowned commentators with his book "al-Jami 'li Ahkamail Qur'an".
His full name is Abu Abdillah Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Abu Bakr al-Farrah al-Ansari al-Khuzrazi al-Qurthubi. He was born in the year 580 AH / 1184 AD in a village called al-Qurthubah.

Since childhood, he lived in a simple family environment. his father was a farmer who is often busy on his farm. He grew up with his father for about 15 years, rather than the year 580 H to 595 H.

After that he started his scientific journey to guide science begins with studying the Qur'an and some other sciences such as deepening the Arabic language and Arabic sya'ir-sya'ir. after that, he went to Egypt to study the several branches of science, such as the science of jurisprudence, Nahwu, balaghah, Ulumul Qur'an, qira'at and the language of the Koran. There, al-Qurthubi study with Ibn al-Jamizi Ali bin Habatullah and al-Hasan al-Bicri.

His odyssey in studying passed vigorously despite the deprivation and away from his beloved family, really something we should all follow the story or biography of a character or a cleric.

3. al - Atsna fi Syarhi al - Asma al - Husna
4. at- Tadzkar Afdlali fi al -Qur'an
5. Syarh at- Taqsha fi al -Hadith an- Nabawi
6. I'lam bima fi al - Din an- Nassara min al - Mafasid wa wa al - Auham Adzhari Mahasinu Din al - Islam .

Imam al - Qurthubi died on the evening of Monday , 09 Shawwal 671 H in Cairo Egypt . his tomb is located in the east of the Nile . May Allah have mercy on him . ameen .
